I found a new blog I've added to my yahoo RSS feed reader as well as a website I plan to check out. It's Dynamite Weddings and the Dynamite Weddings Blog. They are local to the Sacramento area, their website explains their goal as:

I spent quite a bit of time on the blog the other day, going through the archives, and I have to say I was quite impressed! Check it out ladies!

What more can you ask for, to get a perfect summer evening? Oh yeah, a nice cool breeze, and we had that too! Our family LOVES our evening walks! Recently we have been making the BIG loop around our neighborhood for our walk, and ending at A&S BMW Motorcycles around the corner from our house. By the time we make it there, they are closed. The parking lot is empty and it's a great place for the kids to ride around freely. They imagine they are motorcycles racing around, and Chris window shops and daydreams at the Vespa Showroom, while Bella and I sit and watch the boys being silly and laugh

I was trying to make Aiden's bike with the handle look SOOOOO fun and cool. It was a no go, he refused to ride it this time, which STINKS because after a couple blocks he wants us to PUSH him on his trike the rest of the way. Then of course once he reaches the parking lot he has all the energy in the world................ stinker

Oh my, the boys are at that age, they want to look "cool" in all their photos. Hmmmmm, what do you think, did the accomplish that? lol

Steve & Cassie, we had such a great time with you guys at your wedding! Thank you for not only entrusting your wedding photography to us, but also welcoming us into your group of family and friends for the day! Hope you are getting settled in Oklahoma!

Over the weekend our family celebrated our traditional summer event. Every year we have a theme day with my parents and sister's family. Last year was Pirate Day The year before that we had camping day, and camped out in my parents nearly half acre back yard. It's an event our kids look forward to, and plan for all year long. This year was our super spy party. The kids have really been into spies this year, so my parents decided to go with it, and plan the day around it.

After deciding that everyone coming dressed in trench coats in the Sacramento heat would wear thin very quickly Nana & Papa decided to go a different route and changed it into a "Clue" party. We each came in character, and the house was set up as a crime scene.



We had our mugshots taken, and then played the game clue.

There were some pretty suspicious characters that's for sure!







Then this real shifty character showed up, he didn't really seem to belong, but he insisted on getting his mug shot taken too. I'm still not convinced he didn't have a roll in the murder.................







Even inspector Grey was a suspect!









After finishing up the mugshots we had Mrs. White pour us all some stiff drinks (well less stiff for the kids, it was brightly colored juice for the kids and Sangrias for the adults





Then it was time to sit down and get down to business of finding a MUUUURderer!

It ended up that Professor Plum (Chris) was the murderer, in the Study, with the Knife! ***GASP!!!!***



After the game the kids switched to spies and searched the back yard for clues and bad guys. After the sun set we set up chairs in the back yard, made some popcorn and watched some classic episodes of "Get Smart" on side of the house with the projector.
